A corner of Cranston

Friends Cafe has been a quiet fixture on Elmwood Avenue for over ten years — the kind of place where regulars know the barista's name and the baker shows up before sunrise. We started with a simple belief: that good bread, properly made, and a cup of coffee done right, can turn an ordinary morning into something worth savoring.

Every sourdough loaf is started from our own 8-year-old culture. Every pastry is folded by hand. And every guest who walks through our door is treated like someone we've been hoping to see.
